Constance Belle Mare Plage joins the European Tour |
The MCB OPEN 2009 will be a prestigious step of the European Senior tour, made possible
thanks to the support of MCB (Mauritius Commercial Bank) and American Express.
Its predecessor, The Mauritius Golf Open organised with success
by Constance Belle Mare Plage since December
1994, will be succeeded as from this year by the prestigious European
Senior Tour. It is a world renown recognition for Constance Belle
Mare Plage and the outcome of 15 years of golf.

• Signature of Agreement
Signature of the agreement, the signatories for the MCB OPEN 2009 are Patrice Binet-Décamps (Managing Director of Constance Hotels Experience) and Charles Perring (Deputy Managing Director European Senior Tour PGA). The protocol agreement took place on the Legend Course, course where the Senior Tour will be played.

• Press Conference Thursday 7 May
The main partner of the MCB OPEN 2009, the Mauritius Commercial Bank held a Press Conference at the MCB Boardroom on Thursday 7 May. Pierre Guy Noël, Chief Executive Group of the Mauritius Commercial Bank, followed by Patrice Binet-Décamps, Managing Director of Constance Hotels Experience and then Charles Perring, Deputy Managing Director of the European Senior Tour expressed their enthusiasm about this association during their speeches.

Constance Hotels Experience officially launched the MCB OPEN 2009 during a cocktail organised by Constance Belle Mare Plage. The venue of this event was on the 7th May at the Deer Hunter Restaurant. The speech was done by both Patrice Binet-Décamps (Managing Director of Constance Hotels Experience) and Charles Perring (Deputy Managing Director European Senior Tour PGA) in the presence of the media, officials, partners and sponsors. |
